SPO Gear is reopening our Custom Shop to continue applying our custom finishes to players markers as of August 24, 2006. Check out our previous work on the Custom Shop Gallery page. Watch for a well known player's custom marker and Halo shell debuting in San Diego this weekend. (Hint: It's green).

SPO Gear debuted it's new line of custom Smart Parts Ions and upgrades at the Tampa NPPL event. There will be fully customized Ion Illusions as well as SPO Gear Ion Illusion body kits. The upgraded Illusion includes the Smart Parts Ion, a Blackheart board, a Q-lock feed neck, a Planet Eclipse QEV, a Lucky 15 barrel and the custom SPO finish. The Illusion Body Kit will include a Smart Parts body with the SPO finish, a matching color grip and regulator cover and a Planet Eclipse QEV. Ask your nearest retailer to show you the goods.

SPO GEAR GETS FIVE STARS

SPO Gear's Xtreme Concepts Halo shells recently showed up in "Facefull" magazine's Special 2006 Gear Edition. I was quite surprised and am xtremely grateful to the reviewer. The Mothwing camo shell was pictured and the review stated: "+ This is where it's at! Pimp to the max. - not cheap...but when it looks this good, who cares?" 10/15/05 SERVICE UPDATE

SPO Gear Custom Shop will not be doing any custom work on markers until further notice. We have some production details to work out before continuing our unique finishes. Please bear with us during this time. We will continue this service in the near future.

PSP/SPO Gear World Cup update 10/13/05

After further discussions and review, Rosie has agreed to allow the use of all SPO Gear pattern/color combination Xtreme Concepts loader shells, except, of course, the yellow ones, at this year's World Cup Event. These will be tournament legal at all ensuing PSP events pending any additional rulings. In other words, bring em if you got em. If you don't "got em",  pick one up at the Bunker King or Action Village vendor booth at Cup.

While you're at Cup, stop by the SPO Gear RV and say hello. We'll be in the overflow parking lot. Just look for a bunch of pro team players ( and one "old guy") lazing around under the awning shade.

Joy in PSP 09/23/05

Stockholm Joy Division will make an appearance at this month's PSP World Cup Event on it's way to November's Commander's Cup in Miami, Florida. According to Maximus Lundqvist, there is also the possibility of a family reunion, as brother Alex may be playing with Joy in the Xball division. Alex is also trying to get Maximus to join him and New York Extreme teamates for a few games in the NXL. Keep your eyes open. Those Lunqvist boys are everywhere!

From an email dated 5/10/05 from Robert (Rosie) Rose, the SPO Gear natural Leopard skin finished Halo shell is now officially approved for PSP tournament use. None of my yellow shells will be allowed. "I will make sure that I allow your leopard skin shells to play our events, but I will have to say that the yellow fiber wrapped loaders are not going to be allowed." "I would not mind at all if you announce that your leopard skin loaders are approved by me/PSP."
