What is SPO Gear?

SPO Gear is our own line of scenario products. They are unique, customized versions of existing models from established manufacturers. Each custom finished SPO Gear camo product is unique in that it’s finish is applied by hand and the same pattern cannot be exactly duplicated from product to product. That’s right; each product, in a sense, is one of a kind. The Care and Feeding of Your New SPO Scenario Product.

Each product comes with the manufacturer’s recommendations for care and upkeep. Please follow these instructions to the letter to avoid any possibility of voiding your manufacturer’s warranty.

Additionally, there are a few special instructions regarding the custom finish on the SPO versions. Unlike anodizing, although nearly as tough, the finish is a surface application, and as such is susceptible to damage from rough handling as well as from misuse of abrasive or corrosive chemicals or cleaners.

The finishing process entails a primer coat, the pattern application and a final clear coat. Like most paintball products, the SPO should be rinsed or washed with plain water and wiped down with a soft cloth. As some paintballs may have an acidic content, paint should never be allowed to remain on the product for any extended period of time. (Always take care to protect any electronic components from moisture.)

Nicks and scratches are considered normal wear and tear. We recommend you use automotive touchup paint to correct any perforations of the product surface. Besides keeping your product looking new, it may aid in preventing the possibility of peeling.

Should your SPO product exhibit any signs of flaking or peeling within thirty days of delivery, return the product to Scenario Paintball Outfitters, Inc., not the manufacturer, for evaluation. If this condition is determined to be a defect, rather than a result of improper care, SPO will repair or replace the product at our discretion.
